Your best bet is to start taking a look at freelance boards and forums to market your service and bid on jobs. Some of the better places to start are; http://forums.digitalpoint.com http://www.scriptlance.com http://www.odesk.com Any free time you have, you may want to write a series of original articles that you could resell. Pick topics that you are knowledgeable about, do some keyword research can create packages of 5 - 10 articles. Once completed, offer them for sale at a freelance or webmaster forum. Hope this helps!

Since you're freelancing, it means you can work for any client ( and even multiple projects) located not only in India, but throughout the world. You can check out freelancing sites where you can build up your profile/portfolio as a writer and bid for the work. You can choose to go for an hourly rate or a fixed price rate.
