We want to go to Goa. Have a decent budget and don't want to stay anywhere rubbish. But we want wicked beaches and good food. We will be ther in the middle of April, will this be a problem as the season finished in March?

http://www.thezurihotels.com/retreat-goa/ - we stayed at this hotel in South Goa and it is fantastic...book bed & breakfast though as the food outside the hotel and at the beach shacks - is cheap and very, very good. everything in the Hotel - drinks included is expensive...but the hotel is well worth staying at....very plush indeed! the season doesn't finish until May...so you will be ok in April. i have a review & photo on the Trip Advisor website...if you search the hotel you will see it. good luck - India is fantastic and you will love it...although - you'll need a Tourist Visa so don't forget that.

bit late to go to goa ..but its the only place ...and whatever you do ..DO NOT eat out of beach shacks ..unless you want to be ill ..and wash your hands 20 times a day
