I am in a twinning program having 2 years in india and 1 year abroad. My course work in India will be over?
this august. i.e aug 2008 but i have applied for January intake.In case, i sit idle at home from august to January as my course work is already complete here (except two courses in which I had applied for a W grade) will that affect my chance of getting a US VIsa? Do I need to justify what I did in this vacant period?

Do i need any specific documents to work in india if i have been issued a residence permit & my wife is indian
i am actually facing a problem where i need your guidance. So I am a Mauritian national and my wife is of indian nationality where we are married legally since 2003 and have been staying in Mauritius. So we are planning to settle down in Indian since my in-laws are not keeping well . Does residence permit holders require a working permit to work in india

I think if what you have is a PIO or CIO card, you don't need a work visa, as both these cards allow you to work. I too am married to an Indian and this is what I was told.

does vonage voip phones work in India bangalore?
I am planning to send a vonage phone to bangalore thinking, it would be more economical to communicate with my parents. (from USA to India). Will this work. Please let me know

No, it doesn't work here. But you could do what I do: Free PC-2-Phone calls to over 45 countries - but you still gotta recharge, at first, for 10euros - cuz not every country is free. Also, to call the free countries, you'll need to recharge and keep some money in yer account. Here: http://www.internetcalls.com Download the messenger, recharge with yer credit card, and the voice quality matches SKYPE - I love it! And you get yer own free phone-in no. which SKYPE charges like 30 dollars or so for - Yahoo! charges some 3 dollars - here it is free. You'll be surprised - just like I was - itz awesome.

plz guide me that which course gives benifit for me to work abroad.i m 12th pass and currently doing advance deploma in computer hardware & networking.

You need a bit more work. Try learning to spell the words correctly in English beyond using phonetics. You might want to look towards Iraq, or Egypt. They are hiring multiple language people to train their own countrymen.
