Does iphone from USA work in India? Is there a better deal in India?
I am USA for 1 month and will go back India after that . I found that apple has launched 3g iphone and wanna buy this phone but I have some questions:- Where can I buy this phone with cheapest price? Is there any restriction for 3 year connection of at&t or something like that as it won't be good for me as at&t is not available in India and I am going back on 27th July? Will this work in India? Any suggestions??

It will in fact work in india. After a certain about of time AT&T will request you sign on with a carrier in india (its costly for you to use a us phone in india permantly) and may even waive cancellation charges.

do i need to purchase a PAL adapter for US game consoles to work in India?
is there such a thing? a PAL adapter, or the games just wont work at all? if you have no clue, do not answer. need someone to answer that knows 100% for certain. no guesses allowed. thank you.

Yes there is a such thing. It is a like a box shaped thing and it can convert NTSC video signals to PAL or other regions. We were going to buy one for video converting from PAL to NTSC search on amazon for it

if i get an unlocked iphone 2g, will it work in india?
I am looking to buy an iphone for a friend in India. The one I'm looking at is an APPLE iPHONE 2G 8GB 3.1.2 OS.. It is unlocked. So will it be able to work in India? Or does it need to be jailbroken to do that? If it's unlocked do you only have to put in ur SIM card to make it work there? Any help is appreciated.
