i would like to work in australia , currently working in india ?
i have uploaded my resumes in job portals but most of the jobs that i apply for say that i have to be eligible to work in australia . How do i make myself eligible for that ? Please clarify as to wat i should do ?

careers abroad are certainly an exciting notion, but you have to be really watchful of the law-related implications, if you don't effect your research properly, there can be unpleasant conseqences! It means that you are able to get on a plane get off and work without having to organise a visa. In other words - you have a working visa already. This statement is to prevent people from countries - like india - think that if they get the job, the company will sponsor them to come over because they are not eligible to come over on their own merits. You need to check the www.immi.gov.au site for the list of professions that currently are able to get a visa, and if you have the qualifications and recent experience (2+ years) then you apply (and pay the 3-5K in costs, wait the 2 years to get it approved, come over and then apply for a job. Its like going to a house auction and bidding, winning at the auction and then saying "oh but I dont have any money? Do I need to go and see the bank?" You get the loan first, then bid at auction. You get the visa first then apply for jobs in Australia.

Will the TV tuner card purchased in Japan will work in India?
I am planning to buy a Laptop with TV tuner card in Japan. If I take the laptop to India, will I be able to use the TV tuner card? Or do I need any convertors to make it work? Please let me know if there are any other way. In japan the TV standard is NTSC and in India it is PAL. Will this must be taken into consideration while buying the TV tuner card?

The TV tuner accepts only frequency not country either that may be Japan or India that accepts all the channels/Countries in the world which has inputed to that so stop worring about that and it will work

I have a Sony Ericsson K790 through Rogers Wireless in Canada. I'm going to be visiting India in a month, but I need to know if my phone will work in India. It's a tri-band (850/1800/1900) but not a quad-band. Any help would be appreciated!

I think it can work in India, but if you call from India.....I think it would be expensive.....

will definately work in India no need for quad band i have used mine 3 band GSM from USA in India no problems at all
