If you buy a good power converter should work well i tried that and just ended up buying another tv because the power converter got way to hot in india

First thing, you will need a power converter to change the voltage from 120 to 240 I think is the international standard. Either way, research the correct type of converter. Most important thing after getting it to turn on is the signal. If you are watching DVD's, Blu-Ray, HD-DVD, etc. that is encoded from the US using NTSC, then it will be fine. However, I believe that India is a uses PAL standard that is not compatible with NTSC.

Yes, they are the same worldwide. The only difference might be the power supply, but that will have a switch on it to change the voltage.

It would without any problem. Just assemble it and you're done, and make sure you can format the Windows to Indian language (if you like, or if it supports) so it will be easily understand. There's nothing PC part coming from US aren't compatible with your PC. Before that make sure that you've checked the voltage rating, okay? US=110 Volt and I think most PC parts supports up to 250 Volt of AC power supply, PSU power supply voltage rating are can be altered so choose 250V for stable operation (it will not fry your components because most PC parts supports voltage up to 250V). And make sure it have proper ventilation so it will not be overheated.
