Hi, I am planning to buy a GPS navigation device, from Germany. But I am in Germany only for an year or so, later I will be shifting to India. So, my concern is, if I buy a navigation device in Germany, will I be able to use it in India? If someone debates that India is not mapped yet, then can I use it in USA? Thank you for the answer V, can you please tell me which is the best Navi according to your experience? my budget is about 150 Euros

Yes you will be able to use it in India, but the problem is you'll need to buy the maps online. Depending on what brand it is, go online and you'll need a credit card to buy other specific maps. It should give you a code-like thing and you just enter it in. You will only get the maps of the country you're buying from. In some cases, for example New Zealand and Australia, it's possible to find the two maps together because the places are so close. Hope this helped!
