If I buy Nokia n900 unlocked mobile phone from Amazon.com in usa and want to use it in india, will it work perfectly as if I supposed to buy it in india?

It'll work perfectly fine! It's unlocked so just get an Indian sim card in it, and it'll be all good :D. This is also what I do with my phone(s). Have fun with your phone! :D

Ok my friend, when you buy a phone you must be sure of certain things, like which band should work with it, is it unlocked, etc... In order to work in your country make sure that the phone is unlocked, or consider a world phone, also that is a quadband phone, if it happen to be a triband, then make sure that it works with your network. For example; in USA most wireless service from ATT use frequency 850mhz. If you get a triband phone and your carrier works only in 850mhz. then the phone won't work with your sim card. So to be sure and on the ave side, it have to be unlocked, quadband, and you are set to go, good luck.
