hi guys iam planning to buy Sony KDL-32V4000 lcd tv from UK and want to take it to india. The question is will it work in india or am i just wasting my money? Please reply ASAP.

YES, same PAL tv systems also 220-240V. only things, you need analog tuner. not DIGITAL tuner , new tv from UK some only DTS . so ask for analog tuner model. ( from model no , i won knows is DTS or analog, ask the sales people over there ). Sony is very good TV.

I have asked this question to one of the Currys representative and he said that it will work. How are you planning to take them to India? How about the Custom duty charges? Will it become more than what it would cost in India, after adding all the charges?
