i have uploaded my resumes in job portals but most of the jobs that i apply for say that i have to be eligible to work in australia . How do i make myself eligible for that ? Please clarify as to wat i should do ?

careers abroad are certainly an exciting notion, but you have to be really watchful of the law-related implications, if you don't effect your research properly, there can be unpleasant conseqences! It means that you are able to get on a plane get off and work without having to organise a visa. In other words - you have a working visa already. This statement is to prevent people from countries - like india - think that if they get the job, the company will sponsor them to come over because they are not eligible to come over on their own merits. You need to check the www.immi.gov.au site for the list of professions that currently are able to get a visa, and if you have the qualifications and recent experience (2+ years) then you apply (and pay the 3-5K in costs, wait the 2 years to get it approved, come over and then apply for a job. Its like going to a house auction and bidding, winning at the auction and then saying "oh but I dont have any money? Do I need to go and see the bank?" You get the loan first, then bid at auction. You get the visa first then apply for jobs in Australia.
